It started as a shopping list.

One list, and one idea: when you pick something up, it should get out of your way. Tick it, and it tucks itself away, so the list only shows what’s left to find.

That turned out to suit almost everything worth keeping track of — packing, menus, plans, the jobs around the house. So What’s Left grew into a home for all of it, and kept the calm.

Is it free?

Yes. What’s Left is free while it’s in beta, with every feature included. There are no ads, and you won’t be asked for a card. Pro tools for coordinating are on the way, and they’ll be free during the beta too.

Does it work offline?

Changes you make without a connection are saved on your device and sync as soon as you’re back online. So if you lose signal halfway round the shop, keep ticking.

Can I share a space?

Yes. Invite people by email or with a link, and choose what each person can do: edit, tick things off, or just view. Everyone sees changes live. You can also send a copy that the other person can make their own.

Is my data private?

Your spaces are visible only to you and the people you share them with, and that rule is enforced by the database itself, not just the app. We don’t show ads, and we never sell or share your data for marketing. The details are in our privacy policy.

How do I put it on my phone?

Open the app in your phone’s browser and sign in. Then:

iPhone: tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Android: open the browser menu, then tap Install app or Add to Home screen.

It opens full screen, like any other app.

Do I need a password?

No. Enter your email and we’ll send you a six-digit code and a one-tap sign-in link. There’s no password to remember or lose.

Can I get my things out?

Any time. Export a space as Markdown, or copy it straight to your clipboard. And if you ever want to leave, you can delete your account and its data from Account settings in the app.
