The service

What’s Left (“we”, “us”) is a service for keeping checklists and notes, alone or shared with other people, at whatsleft.click and app.whatsleft.click. By using it, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

It’s in beta

The service is in beta. It’s provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. It may have bugs, change as we improve it, or sometimes be unavailable. Please keep your own copy of anything you can’t afford to lose — you can export any space as Markdown.

Your account

You sign in with your email address, so keep that inbox secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.

Your content

You own what you create. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you and the people you share with. When you share a space, the people you share it with can see its content and, depending on the role you give them, change it.

Using it kindly

Please don’t use What’s Left to:

• break the law, or help anyone else break it;
• harass, threaten or harm other people;
• store or share content you don’t have the right to share;
• send spam or malicious code;
• get into spaces or accounts that aren’t yours, or probe, disrupt or overload the service.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Price

The service is free while it’s in beta. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll tell you before anything you use starts to cost money, and you’ll never be charged without agreeing to it first.

Changes, and ending

We may change these terms, or change or discontinue the service. We’ll give you reasonable notice of significant changes, and if we ever close the service, we’ll give you notice and time to export your content. You can stop using What’s Left and delete your account at any time, from Account settings in the app.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the service’s operator is based, except where the law where you live gives you the right to rely on its own rules.
